How do your counseling sessions work?

We begin with a confidential intake to understand your goals, boundaries, and concerns. From there, we develop a tailored plan that may include therapuetic sessions, educational resources, and actionable exercises you can practice between meetings.

I am nervous and scared about what I wish to share.

Your are not alone with this concern. Doug takes a nonjudgemental stance on subjects that are brought up by clients. Doug is allied with the Kink, LGBTQI, Polyamorous and other under represented communities. One of the most impactful elemtents to healing is sharing your story in a safe place allow shame to deminish. Doug believs his mission is to help others find, develop their own sexual values.

Is everything we discuss really private?

Absolutely. All sessions follow strict professional ethics and privacy standards. Your personal information and the details of your conversations remain confidential at all times.

Do you Accept Insurance?

Yes, Doug does accept certtain insurances. At this moment I accept Aetna, United Health Care, Optum, Blue Cross Blue Shield Nevada, UMR and Cigna. Unfortunately, Doug does not accept Medicaid at this time. If you have questions about your insurance please contact Doug.
